No items yet?

What to do when your alert hasn't found any matches yet.

Seeing "No Items Yet" on a new alert is completely normal. Here's what to know and what to do.

Be patient — Trouve is working

Once you create an alert, Trouve starts scanning Vinted for new listings that match your criteria immediately and continues around the clock. However, Trouve only matches against new listings — it doesn't search through items that were already listed before your alert was created.

This means if your alert is very specific (a particular brand, size, condition, and price range), it may take some time before a seller lists something that ticks every box. Popular categories like general clothing tend to get matches quickly, while niche items like a specific vintage piece in a specific size may take days or even weeks.

Give it some time

As a rough guide:

  • Broad alerts (e.g. a popular brand in a common size) — you should see matches within minutes to hours.
  • Specific alerts (e.g. a particular model, size, and price range) — matches may take hours to days.
  • Very niche alerts (e.g. a rare item in an uncommon size under a low price) — it could take days or longer. That's fine — Trouve will keep watching 24/7.

If it's been a while and you still have no matches

Check these common causes:

  • Your price range is too narrow — If you've set a very low maximum price, there may simply be no listings at that price point. Try raising it slightly or removing the price filter temporarily to see if matches come through.
  • Your keywords are too restrictive — Include keywords must appear in the listing title exactly as written. Sellers don't always use the terms you'd expect. Try fewer or shorter keywords. See our guide on using keywords effectively for tips.
  • You've selected too many filters — Each filter narrows the pool of potential matches. Try relaxing one or two filters (e.g. remove the condition filter or broaden the size selection) to see if that helps.
  • Your Vinted region has low activity for that item — Some regions have fewer sellers listing certain types of items. If you're in a smaller market, matches may simply be less frequent.

Still unsure?
